Lisa Winstanley, Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design & Media, has over 20 years of experience in commercial design and a decade as an educator and researcher. Her creative work is internationally recognised with 80+ design awards and exhibitions across 30 countries in renowned venues like Dongdaemun Design Plaza in South Korea and Moscow’s State Tretyakov Gallery.
Lisa is the founder of the Design Ethics and Visual Integrity Research Lab, where her scholarly research explores ethical design practices and visual literacy, funded by an MOE Tier 2 grant. She addresses visual plagiarism in art and design and explores interdisciplinary social responsibility. Through her work, Lisa champions visual integrity and social impact in design education and practice.
